We engineered fights to be relevant - Bebe Cool
The Uganda music industry was dominated by fights in the early and mid-2000s.
Musicians like Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine, and Jose Chameleone always engaged in endless fights.
The cause of the feuds was always perceived to be a battle for supremacy.
While appearing for an interview on a local TV station via skype, Bebe Cool confirmed that most of the wars were planned to grab the attention of the fans and also remain relevant.
The Gagamel boss also said that he has never confronted Bobi Wine face to face but clashed with Jose Chameleone several times.
The “Wire Wire” hitmaker said the fights often lasted longer than anticipated, turning into real beef.
